Bongiorno Music Studio

My name is Jane Bongiorno and I’m the founder of Oregon Octave Music Academy.

In 2015 I started teaching piano lessons as an in-home instructor. As much as I loved seeing my students in their home settings I wanted to also expand with my love for music. By 2016 I opened a small (and cozy, might I add) studio space for in-person lessons—the Bongiorno Music Studio—which is now the headquarters of our online academy.

But here’s a (not-so-hidden) secret...

I still teach piano lessons in person at the Bongiorno Music Studio to a select number of private students.

In 2020 when the pandemic hit and local lockdowns swept through the country the shift that ensued was felt both at home and in my music studio. I saw the need for online music lessons as here to stay. But to a handful of dedicated students I still offer in-person lessons.

I’m happy to be providing a wonderful music education to you, no matter your location, familiarity with classical music, or learning needs.
